COOMA’S Cindy Chawner is no stranger to competition snowboarding after years of watching her daughter, Mia, race at the national and international level.
The roles will be reversed this week when Chawner takes to the Whistler slopes for the Invictus Games. Rather than being at the bottom cheering Mia on, it will be Chawner, 59, competing for the first time.
