Visitors to the Snowy Scheme Museum at Adaminaby are now able to get an insight into the home life of scheme workers in the 1950s and 1960s.
The museum has taken delivery of an original transportable prefabricated house built by the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority and used as accommodation for its workers and their families.
Museum spokesperson Tim Corkhill says the plan is to renovate the cottage to the design and content of how it was lived in during its heyday.
