Road names honour residents
Former citizens of the year, service personnel and local flora have been used to form a proposed road name bank as Snowy Monaro Regional Council looks to streamline its road naming process.
Council anticipates up to 80 new roads will need naming over the next five years with a significant number of subdivisions in the pipeline.
At this week’s ordinary council meeting, councillors are expected to endorse the proposed road name bank for a further round of community consultation.
