Kalkite residents applaud Council

Snowy Monaro Regional Council Chambers in Cooma erupted in applause at their meeting on Thursday after Council did not approve the rezoning planning proposal for 56 Hillsdown Road.
Kalkite residents cheered as Councillors Narelle Davis, Peter Beer, Craig Mitchell, Luke Williamson, Louise Frolich, Chris Hanna, Bob Stewart and Trish Hopkins all voted against the motion.
Councillor Davis moved the motion for Council not to approve and Councillor Beer seconded the motion.
