Currawarna ready to re-open

  • AGED CARE: The Currawarna assisted living facility will re-open in January.

    Bombala’s residential aged care hostel, Currawarna, will reopen in January under a new management model, with finances provided through the hard work of the local community and state government.

    News the 33-bed facility will be re-open after being empty for two years is particularly poignant, coming just days after Snowy Monaro Regional Council announced the  closure of the Snowy River Hostel at Berridale.
