Council to consider Kalkite planning proposal

The planning proposal for rezoning 56 Hilldowns Road, Kalkite was submitted to the Snowy Monaro Regional Council for determination and after almost 12 months Council is due to consider the matter on Thursday November 16.
The proposal was placed on public exhibition for 64 days where the key concerns raised by the community were road access and conditions, infrastructure, rural character and landscape, biodiversity, economic impact, social impact, and strategic merit.
