Hospitality venues across the region were pleased to reopen their doors on Monday October 11, thanks to the easing of the Stay-At-Home restrictions across the state. “We’ve had great support from the community during lockdown through takeaways, but it’s great to be able to properly open the doors to patrons once again,” Michael Sharky from the Alpine Hotel said. Daniel Sharky from the Alpine Hotel (pictured) was one of the many hospitality workers pleased to be pouring beers once again.
The Snowy Monaro community has been praised for its response to COVID-19 with health officials pleased at the number of residents coming forward for testing.
