New generation of Landcare volunteers
FAMILIES from the Cooma Multicultural Centre along with Cooma Landcare volunteers have planted more than 250 native grasses, shrubs and trees along a section of Cooma Creek.
A section of hillside, downstream from Nijong Oval, was buzzing with activity as seasoned gardeners helped members of the multicultural centre, some of whom had never had an opportunity to garden before.
