Look out for limping livestock
With the unseasonably wet conditions this year, livestock have been spending significant time standing on wet ground, surrounded by damp pasture. For some livestock, standing around on wet ground has resulted in the softening of their hooves and the tissue between the claws of the foot leaving them prone to bacterial infection and subsequent foot abscess in one or multiple feet.
