Narrabundah travelled to Nijong Oval on Saturday with their eyes focused on knocking Cooma off the top of the table. Cooma scored within minutes from the kick-off. The ball was whipped in from a corner and Laurence Redmond rose above the rest and buried a beautiful header, 1-0 Cooma. On a day when the mountains were getting covered by snow, the Cooma Tigers attack was on fire. Kevin Smith made a lung bursting run from left midfield and was next to score from a misplaced shot from Zac Schoon, 2-0 Cooma. The Cooma defence was arguably having their best game of the season and it led to more possession for Cooma with the likes of Dom Bogatek, Ben Dibben and Iain Elliott in midfield looking dangerous from the start. Zac Schoon was judged to have been brought down in the box by the referee and tucked away the subsequent penalty, halftime 3-0 Cooma.
