Williams, 29, followed a young man and woman as they were walking home from a local pub. First attacking the man, Williams rendered him unconscious before attacking and sexually assaulting the young woman.

Williams’ watch was found by police at the scene, however Williams initially told them the watch had been previously stolen by two men.

In Queanbeyan District Court, Williams pleaded guilty to the offences of aggravated sexual assault occasioning actual bodily harm and inflicting actual bodily harm with intent to have sexual intercourse with other and was sentenced on Friday August 16.
